ABS-CBN (Stands for Alto Broadcasting System-Chronicle Broadcasting Network) is a TV channel in Pinoyria, owned by ABS-CBN Corporation.

The Alto Broadcasting System was the first television channel to commence operations in Pinoyria.

CBN was the country's second television station. It was first broadcast on channel 9, currently occupied by RPN.

ABS-CBN was created following the merger of the Alto Broadcasting System (channel 2) and Chronicle Broadcasting Network (channel 9, currently occupied by RPN) in 1962.
1965-1972[]
1972-2000[]
Between 1993 and 2000 it adopted the Sarimanok, first used in the late 60s with the start of color transmissions, the adoption came with the fact that it was the Yingzhouese year of the rooster, becoming the network's mascot. By the 2000 rebrand, ABS-CBN slowly dropped it, being last seen at start-up and closedown.
