The Herkatio Radio kaj Televido (HRT) is a Herkatian public service broadcaster founded in 1924 as Herkatian Nationwide Radio Broadcasting. The experimental television transmitter is founded in 1934 as Herkatian Experimental Television. In 1945, Elsenda Centra Televidilo & Herkatio Publika Radio was founded as the television and radio, respectively. After the formation of North & South Herkatia in 1948, Elsenda Centra Televidilo become the television channel in South Herkatia and the North Herkatia television channel becomes Herkatio Televidilo that founded a year after divided.
In 1965 the parliament drafted a Law to Merge Herkatio Publika Radio and Herkatio Televidilo, facing the threat of competition from TA, TV3 and DV. After approval the New Corporation was opened in 1967, HT and HPR officially merged into a new broadcasting entity company called Herkatio Radio kaj Televido or simply HRT. It become the flagship organization in Herkatia along with ESH in South Herkatia before 1991.
Its headquarters are at Transmitter City in Usaĵoj, Kaleburgo, and it is the one of world's oldest and one of the largest national broadcasting organization.

In 1957 HT unveiling the new logo featuring an eye which means bright future and vision of Herkatio Televido. This logo is designed by Andrej de Kalmaj.

In 1967, HT and HPR were merged into HRT and using the modified HT logo. Designed by the same designer of 1957 HT logo.

2016-present[]
This logo first leaked on March 2016. But a few months later on July 25th, 2016, HRT announced on their social media pages that they would be have a rebrand on August 2016. The first time that the HRT's eye logo being modified. The change occurred at 7:30 PM in August 10th, 2016. The branding was designed by Herkatian-design agency, Hipermaxx.
